The newly established St. Joseph’s Convent Creative Arts Society (SJCCAS) will be presenting its first annual “Creative Arts Week” slated for the second week in September. The highlight of the week will be two evenings of drama, dubbed “At the Theatre” slated for Tuesday 29thandWednesday 30th September, 2015.
On each evening, four (4) forty (40) minute plays will be featured. “Good Morning Miss Millie” by Alwyn Bully, “Agouti’s Tale”, “A Flight Through Fantasy” “Dorothy’s Challenge” and “Cinderella Syndrome” all written by Zeno Obi Constance and one devised play “My Land is Mine” written by the class of 2a2. The two evenings will be opened to the public where an entrance fee of $20 will be charged.
This production will be spearheaded by the Form 2 body of St. Joseph’s Convent. The project will foster and groom organizational and team building skills.
Students who have opted to be actresses will be going through a vigorous training programme to prepare them for production night. Tickets can be purchased at the St. Joseph’s Convent Secondary School.
