Nine lucky scholars will be heading to school with smiles on their faces this semester after receiving scholarships from Guyana and Trinidad Mutual Group of Insurance Companies Limited (GTM).
The scholarships, no doubt, will assist the students tremendously. This is not the first time the company has shown support for students. In fact, it’s a GTM tradition. Policyholders of the company are encouraged to apply for the awards annually, which remain in force for a five- year period providing students maintain the required grade point average (GPA).
Digier Poleon, Jazmyn Faucher, Keagan Samuel, Adelle Polius, Aden Eugene, Debian O’Brian and Yohance Charlery did just that and were once again rewarded for their hard work.
Two new awardees (Shiloh Canaii and Joshua Matthew) who attained outstanding grades in the 2022 Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment Exams (CPEA) also joined the group for the first time. Come September, Shiloh will be attending the Vieux Fort Comprehensive Secondary School; Joshua, on the other hand, will attend the St. Mary’s College.
