July 30, marked the first day of the Cultural Development Foundation’s Emancipation Art Exhibition, an exhibition,to celebrate the work of three local artists.
The event which culminates on September 5, 2015, displaysphotography taken over the years by renowned deceased photographer Francis Tobias, who captured defining moments during his time.
Also on display, is the work of John Phulchere, painter and cartoonist whose paintings and caricatures are timeless, evoking and telling.
Ted Sandiford’s creations, on display as well, boasted the talent of a rising artist, graphic designer and animator, his style, unique and inspiring.
According to the Director of Events and Production, Miss Drenia Frederick, the exhibition depicts what we have accomplished and where we are headed.
The exhibition which is held under the theme, “Beyond Emancipation”, attracted many, who scanned the various creations, and were thoroughly impressed.
